- Driver Assessments: Pennsylvania residents can receive driver evaluations and assessments from Adaptive Mobility’s skilled OT Driver Rehab Specialists. Our comprehensive approach combines a clinical evaluation conducted in the client’s home, with an on-road assessment and evaluation, as well as an outcome discussion.
- Driver Rehab Training: Our driver rehabilitation training in Pennsylvania is customized for each client according to their needs and circumstances. We offer adaptive equipment training for hand controls, left foot accelerator, and spinner knobs. We also offer customized driver rehabilitation training for bioptic driving, vision changes, and more. Our OT DRS understand the Pennsylvania state driving laws and can help you. - Online Training for OTs: Adaptive Mobility provides online training courses for occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants who wish to expand their skill set and advance towards becoming an OT Driver Rehab Specialist. We cover many important topics throughout the courses, from how to correctly use adaptive equipment to how to conduct a comprehensive driving evaluation. For the OTP in general practice, we provide free training on occupational therapists’s role with driving and how to conduct a driving risk assessment.
- Hands On OT Training: Following the completion of the online coursework, OTs ready to become driving rehab specialists can join us for our hands-on workshops. These workshops are one of a kind and offer the OTP the chance to practice their new skills in a driver rehab vehicle with one of our OT Driver Rehab Specialists. This in-person training is a must for any new OT Driver Rehab Specialist.
